Personal Graduation Plan / PGP

All incoming 9th grade students, along with their parent(s), will meet with the counselor to establish their endorsement and schedule classes for the next year via their Personal Graduation Plan (PGP). Each year afterwards the student will meet with their counselor to select courses to ensure they meet state requirements and are on tract for graduation.

A personal Graduation Plan is established based on the student's desired career choice.

Fannindel ISD has made great strides in helping our students be not only college ready but career ready, as well.

Barbara Odom-Wesley Spirit of Achievement

Award Value: $2000
Description: This scholarship is named in honor of Barbara Odom-Wesley, the chartering president of the Xi Theta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. This scholarship may be used at any two-year or four-year college or university. Trade, technical, and cosmetology schools are ineligible. Scholarship applicants will be evaluated heavily on the basis of financial need. In order to be eligible for this scholarship, you must provide a copy of a completed FAFSA or relative income documentation.

Description: The Joyce F. Burke Academic Excellence Scholarship was established for students interested in attending an accredited four-year university. Funds can be used to supplement the cost for school tuition, books, or room and board fees. Description: The Council of the Great City Schools and The Harris Institute are awarding four scholarships, with a value of $5,000 each, to two African American and two Hispanic students currently completing their senior year of high school in a member district of the Council of the Great City Schools. North Texas Relocation Professionals (NTRP)

Description: North Texas Relocation Professionals is a non-profit organization that brings together corporations and relocation service providers in Dallas/Fort Worth for the primary purpose of providing educational information and current industry updates to its members. As part of our commitment to Relocation, NTRP has developed a scholarship program for current high school seniors who have relocated into the Dallas/Fort Worth area sometime between grades 9 (after 8th grade graduation) and 12. Scholarship awards of $1,000-$3,000 will be presented to a minimum of two Dallas/Fort Worth area high school seniors this year (Collin, Dallas, Denton, and Tarrant counties). The award will be sent to the college that the student will be attending to assist with tuition, etc. The exact amount and division of the awards will be determined by the judges.
